I am so incredibly excited to share the next part of The Thyssian Archipelago with you!
Book 2 will be here before you know it, but in the mean time, I would love to share some little details with you to help you picture it and get even more excited.
The prologue will begin with Arith’s point of view! I am having a great time developing his personality, magic skills and motivations. This character is very complex and will definitely give me a challenge as a writer.
I am a big fan of redemption arcs and that is really where I want book 2 to shine as we find out the endings and purposes of each character’s role in the series
The Nine will be a much larger part of the narrative and I cannot wait to share more information with you about the pantheon at the center of all this chaos.
There will be lots more magic and alchemy, (especially in Aerin and Alexi’s storylines!)
I hope this answers some of your questions and if you have anymore please feel free to reach out and let me know!
Happy Reading!

FAQs
Will it still be Multiple POV?
Yes, book 2 will still feature a multiple point of view storyline told in the third person. However, there will be fewer POVs than compared to TSOT. This book will primarily focus on Gailah’s storyline on Thyssia, Aerin’s journey on Ghobasi, and Alexi’s journey.
Bjorn and Senna will have POVs but their plot will be heavily intertwined with the conflict on Thyssia. They will have fewer povs but they are still a huge part of the narrative.
Will there be “spice”?
I have never considered myself a particularly spicy writer but I do want to honor the emotional journeys and romance arcs that are being followed throughout this series. If there are any on page descriptions it will be focused on the emotional intimacy of the characters rather than explicit content. (Similar to what you would see in Divine Rivals/Ruthless Vows.)
As a reader, I don’t mind spice but as a writer that is not something I see myself exploring at this time for various reasons.
