I am having a wonderful time falling back in stride with my reading and writing routine. I took a pause last week to mostly work on my farm.
As most of you know, I take care of a small orchard, vineyard, lavender field, and a small flock. Last week was a major week. We had 13 ducklings hatch and 25 chicks arrive for coop. They are so sweet and very trusting. My daughter is loving them and talking about them all day long.
I often do my best writing outside while I am working on farm projects. Even if I’m digging holes for my lavender or cutting hardware cloth for my chickens, I am usually brain storming book ideas. I love being able to spend time outside and also work on my stories.
What I’m reading right now:
Shadow Dance – C.K. Anderson
The Familiar – Leigh Bardugo
What I’m Watching:
Season 7 of Somebody Feed Phil
Fallout
Book 2 Progress:
Word Count: 37,968
-I have drafted a mockup for the cover and it will be ordered once draft one of book 2 is complete
Here is a sneak peak at home I am organizing my POVs (Not a timeline)
